ABOUT UTAH STATE: The Aggies have lost three consecutive games after falling Saturday to Nevada, 89-84. Jalen Moore leads the team in scoring at 14.9 points per game, while hauling in 6.1 rebounds.

BLACK OUT: Tuesday will be Boise State’s annual Black Out game. The Broncos will wear their black uniforms and fans are encouraged to wear black as well. Boise State first unveiled the black uniforms in 2013 and have worn them at home one game each season since.

MAKING THE TURN: Boise State finished the front nine of its Mountain West slate with a 6-3 record against nine different opponents. The Broncos begin the back half of the conference season Tuesday, taking on Utah State in the first rematch of the year. Boise State won the first meeting 76-61 in Logan, Jan. 5.

LAST TIME: New Mexico got the better end of a game of runs Wednesday, and prevailed with an 88-83 win at Taco Bell Arena. A 15-2 Bronco run in the middle of the second half was bookended by Lobo spurts of 14-0 and 15-2. Mikey Thompson had 17 points and 10 assists. Nick Duncan led the Broncos with 19 points.

THE OTHER DOUBLE-DOUBLE: Mikey Thompson recorded the first double-double of his career Jan. 30 against New Mexico with 17 points and 10 assists. It was the first points-assists double-double at Boise State since Jan. 24, 2009, which was also the last time a Bronco recorded double-digit assists.

A:TO THOMPSON: Mikey Thompson dished out 10 assists against New Mexico (Jan. 30) without committing a turnover. Thompson is the only Bronco to register double-figure assists and zero turnovers since at least the 1983-84 season.

Second-Half Outburst Paces Broncos
Chandler Hutchison and Nick Duncan scored 15 apiece, James Webb III scored 12 points, and the Broncos (11-4, 2-0 Mountain West) shot 71 percent from the field in the second half. Senior Anthony Drmic was held scoreless for the first time since his freshman year but grabbed nine rebounds for Boise State.
