The Boise State men’s basketball team continues its first Mountain West road trip, traveling to face TCU, Saturday. Tip-off between the Broncos (10-7, 0-2 MW) and Horned Frogs (10-7, 0-2 MW) is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. (MT), at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas. The game will be nationally-televised by The Mtn.

MW HISTORY: Heading into its first season as a member of the Mountain West, the Broncos were 10-16 against current league opponents. New Mexico is the only current MW school that Boise State has not faced.

THE SERIES: The Broncos and Horned Frogs have met just once prior to this season, a 69-43 Boise State victory, Dec. 23, 1977. The game was played at the Wolf Pack Classic in Reno, Nev.

The Broncos have already used eight different starting line-ups through 17 games in 2011-12, the same number the team used all of last season.

PERRYMAN’S RATIO: Redshirt senior guard Westly Perryman recorded nine assists and zero turnovers against Idaho (Dec. 31), the most assists without a turnover by a Mountain West player this season. Perryman’s assist-turnover ratio (2.50) is ranked second in the conference and 23rd nationally.

Perryman boasts an assist-turnover ratio of 18-2 in his last five games, and went 93 minutes, 33 seconds without recording a turnover (Dec. 22-Jan. 14).
