THE GAME: The Boise State men’s basketball team hits the road for the first time in league play, traveling to face Colorado State, Tuesday. Tip-off between the Broncos (10-6, 0-1 MW) and Rams (12-4, 1-0 MW) is scheduled for 8 p.m. (MT), at Moby Arena in Fort Collins, Colo. The game will be nationally-televised by The Mtn.

The game against the Rams is one of 11 Bronco broadcasts by The Mtn. this season.

MW HISTORY: Heading into its first season as a member of the Mountain West, the Broncos were 10-16 against current league opponents. New Mexico is the only current MW school that Boise State has not faced.

THE SERIES: Since the first meeting Dec. 28, 1974, the Broncos and Rams have played seven times. Boise State trails 2-5 in the all-time series, including a mark of 0-4 on the road. The two teams have met just twice in the last 17 years, with each team winning on its home court.

STARTING LINE-UPS: The Broncos have already used seven different starting line-ups through 16 games in 2011-12. In Leon Rice’s first season, the team used just eight different line-ups in 35 games.
