RADIO INFORMATION: Boise State's games will be broadcast live on the Bronco Radio Network, with KBOI (670 AM) serving as the flagship station. The broadcast will also be streamed live at BroncoSports.com. P SERIES HISTORY: San Diego State leads 6-1. Since joining the conference, Boise State is 1-5 against SDSU with five of the six games being decided by six points or fewer. The Broncos lost the two games played at San Diego State by a combined three points. 1,000-POINT CLUB: Derrick Marks became the 24th member of Boise State's 1,000-point club in the 75th game of his career. Fellow junior Anthony Drmic hit the milestone earlier this season in the 65th game of his career (Nov. 23, at New Orleans). It is the fifth time in school history two Broncos surpassed the plateau in the same season, the first time it's been done by two juniors in the same season. VS RANKED OPPONENTS: The Broncos are 6-38 all-time against AP Top 25 teams, including a 2-21 mark against top-15 foes. Under Leon Rice, Boise State is 1-13 against ranked opponents, including 0-3 against ranked SDSU teams. The highest-ranked team Boise State has ever defeated was No. 11 Creighton, an 83-70 victory on the road last season (Nov. 28, 2012). TOUGH SLATE IN `13-'14: Wednesday marks the third game agaisnt a top-15 opponent for Boise State in the last month. It is the first time the Broncos have faced three teams in the top 15 in a single season in school history. CITY OF THREES: The Broncos' outside shooting prowess is putting a new spin on the City of Boise's official nickname, "The City of Trees." The Broncos are shooting at a 40.1 percent clip from deep this season (27th in the country) and are averaging 8.0 three-pointers per game (No. 44 in the NCAA). Jeff Elorriaga is the mayor of the City of Threes, leading the country in three-point field goal percentage at 55.1 percent. |
