The football bowl season is winding down.  Cold weather means time to stay indoors.  What better way to warm up in the winter months than catching fire with Boise State basketball.  The defending conference champion Bronco men currently sit at 10-3 and host all eight WAC rivals between now and March 7th.

Boise State is fresh off a convincing 70-58 conference opening road win at Hawai’i last Saturday night, and have won four straight games.  This week is your chance to catch the Broncos in the friendly confines of Taco Bell Arena, where they host WAC games against San Jose State on Thursday night and a rematch with Hawai’i on Saturday night.  Both games start at 7:00 p.m.

The Broncos have followed up the success of last season (Boise State won a school record 25 games and advanced to the NCAA Tournament in 2008) with a strong first half of the 2008-09 campaign.  Boise State’s two year record of 35-12 is equal to Utah State as the best in the WAC over the past two seasons, while the Broncos are unmatched in league play, going a conference best 16-4 against WAC opponents in the last 20 games.

Home court advantage has also been re-established at Taco Bell Arena, where the Broncos are 7-1 so far this season, including wins over Mountain West foes Wyoming and Colorado State.  In the past three seasons, Boise State has won 80 percent of its home games, going 31-8 in Taco Bell Arena since the start of the 2006 season.

Individual game tickets can be purchased at any Select-A-Seat outlet or at the Taco Bell Arena Box Office the night of the game.  Click here to buy tickets on-line.  If you’re interested in finding out more about the “One Time On Us” Basketball Promotion, simply click here.
