Boise State Game Notes

THE GAME: Boise State (9-4, 2-0 MW) takes its five-game win streak on the road Wednesday, against UNLV (8-7, 1-1 MW). After one week of Mountain West play, only the Broncos and New Mexico are unbeaten. The game will be televised on CBS Sports Network with tipoff set for 8 p.m. PT/9 p.m. MT.

ABOUT UNLV: The Rebels dropped their league opener at Colorado State (91-77) before rebounding with an 81-75 home win against Wyoming. Jalen Poyser's 14.1 points per game lead three UNLV players who average double figures.
All-Time Series: UNLV leads 7-6. The Broncos and Rebels split last season's series with each team winning on its home floor.

ONE AND DONE: Boise State plays at UNLV (Jan. 4) and hosts San Diego State (Jan. 7) this week. It is the only time the Broncos will see either team in the regular season.

HUTCHISON POW: Chandler Hutchison was named Mountain West Player of the week Monday, after leading the Broncos to a pair of wins last week. Hutchison averaged 20.5 points and 8.5 rebounds across the first two games of MW play, including the game-winning three-pointer as time expired against Colorado State.

2-0 START: Boise State is 2-0 to start Mountain West play for the second straight year. The Broncos have started 3-0 in conference seven times in program history, including last season's 4-0 start.
