Broncos Improve to 4-1 with 72-56 Win over UCSB

BOISE, Idaho (AP) - Anthony Drmic led four Boise State players in double figures with 16 points, and the Broncos used a huge run at the end of the first half Saturday to roll to a 72-56 win over UC Santa Barbara.

Jeff Elorriaga scored 15 points - coming on a career-high five 3-pointers - as Boise State (4-1) bounced back from a Tuesday loss at Michigan State. The Broncos went 9-of-18 from 3-point range, the team's best performance since going 14-of-22 (.636) against Drake, Nov. 30, 2011.

Igor Hadziomerovic scored 14 points and Derrick Marks had 10 for Boise State, which used an 18-0 run to turn a tenuous 19-18 lead into a 37-18 advantage.

The Broncos led by as many as 28 points, the largest advantage of the season.

Alan Williams led UCSB with 15 points, and Taran Brown added 13 for the Gauchos (2-3), who turned the ball over 16 times and trailed for the final 36 minutes.
