CONWAY, S.C. (AP) Chandler Hutchison had the go-ahead three-point play in the final seconds to help Boise State (3-0) rally past UTEP (1-1) 58-56 on Thursday in the Puerto Rico Tip-Off at Myrtle Beach.

Hutchison had made just 1 of 12 shots before the final minute, when he scored to bring the Broncos (3-0) to within a point. Then, after Keith Frazier missed the front end of a 1-and-1 with 9.8 seconds left, Hutchison raced downcourt for a layup while being fouled.

Hutchison's free throw made it 58-56, and Boise State survived when Frazier's final heave hit the backboard and then the rim before falling away at the horn.

Frazier had 22 points and 10 rebounds for the Miners, who trailed by 13 before halftime but led by nine with 3:23 left.

Marcus Dickinson led the way for the Broncos with a career-high 13 points thanks to four 3-pointers. Hutchison (10) and Hobbs (10) also were double-digit scorers for the Blue and Orange.

Boise State will play Illinois State in Friday's winner's bracket. The game will tip at 11 a.m. (MT)
