Athlete of the Week 10/26-11/1: Kevin Rosaaen
BOISE, Idaho – He led the Boise State men’s cross county team to a third-place finish at the WAC Championships while earning WAC Freshman of the Year, and now Kevin Rosaaen can add Bronco Athlete of the Week to his list of honors.

Rosaaen crossed the finish line of the 8k race in fifth place as the top freshman finisher in the conference. The Fircrest, Wash. native posted a time of 26 minutes, 25.5 seconds, only 25 seconds behind the conference champion. The Broncos finished in third as a team with 69 points.

The Broncos will compete next at the NCAA West Region Championships on Nov. 14.

It will be a busy week for Bronco Nation this week as the women’s golf team and men’s tennis team wrap up their fall seasons. The women’s soccer team plays host to the WAC Tournament starting with the Broncos coming in as the No. 3 seed. The women’s volleyball team will play two matches on the road and the swimming and diving team will also travel to a pair of meets over the weekend. The football team travels to Louisiana Tech on Friday as well. Finally, both basketball teams open their respective seasons with the men hosting exhibition games on Tuesday and Saturday and the women taking the court in Taco Bell Arena on Sunday.
