Oct. 3, 2017

NEW ORLEANS -- Following a fourth place finish at this past weekend's Greater Louisville Classic, the Boise State men's cross country team rose to No. 15 nationally in the latest USTFCCCA Coaches' Poll, the organization announced Tuesday.

The Boise State women remain ranked at No. 13 nationally after winning the team title in Louisville this past weekend.

The Bronco men checked in at No. 26 in the polls entering the week. The 11-spot jump in the rankings was the second-largest upward movement in the nation. The men moved up in the ranking thanks to finishing ahead of three other ranked teams at Louisville.

In the latest regional rankings, the men also rose three spots to third in the West Region. The women remained No. 5 in the region.

Boise State's performance this past weekend also warranted a rise in the FloXC rankings from FloTrack. The men rose four spots to No. 13, while the women rose three spots to No. 10.

The team will return to action at the Nuttycomb Wisconsin Invitational, Oct. 13.
