Bronco Cross Country to Compete at NNU Invitational

BOISE, Idaho The Boise State University men’s and women’s cross country teams continue their season, Saturday, at the fourth annual Hampton Inn and Suites Fall Harrier Classic in Nampa, Idaho.


The women will be running a four-kilometer race beginning at 10:00 a.m., while the men will be running a six-kilometer race beginning at 10:30 a.m. The event, hosted by Northwest Nazarene University, will be held at West Park.


Results will be posted at when they are made available.


Last Week - Junior Cody Eaton and sophomore Kendra Hernandez led the way for the Broncos in their season opening cross country race, Saturday, at Bartley Ranch Regional Park.


Eaton was the top finisher for the Bronco men, finishing second with a four-mile time of 22-minutes, 35 seconds. He finished only five seconds back of winner Dominic Vogl of Sacramento State.


On the women’s side, Hernandez led the Broncos with a third place finish, running the 4,000-meter course in 15:31, 37-seconds behind top-finisher Amanda Moreno of host-school Nevada.
