FloTrack ranked the Bronco women No. 10 and the men No. 19. They also released preseason individual rankings, and 2015 NCAA National Runner-Up Allie Ostrander was recently named the No. 1 women's runner, and fellow sophomore was close behind at No. 6 in the same poll.

MOUNTAIN WEST CHAMPIONSHIPS: Boise State will host the 2016 Mountain West Cross Country Championships at Falcon Crest Golf Club in Kuna, Idaho on Oct. 28. The last time the Broncos hosted a cross country league championship was the 2005 WAC Cross Country Championships at Eagle Island Cross Country Course in Eagle, Idaho. Both the men's and women's teams finished in fourth place with Ty Axtman (fifth) and Rebecca Guyette (10th) leading the way individually for each team.
