Cross Country Announces Schedule
Aug. 11, 2015

BOISE, Idaho -
The Boise State men’s and women’s cross country teams have announced their schedule for the 2015 season. The Broncos will compete in four meets over the course of the regular season, with the Mountain West Championships scheduled for Oct. 30 in Reno, Nev.

The first weekend on Sept. 11 will see the Broncos split up to the Utah Open in Salt Lake City and the Duel in Speedway Meadow in San Francisco. The women’s team won the title at the 2014 Utah Open and the men took second, with graduated senior Emma Bates and senior David Elliott (who is out of cross country eligibility) running to first-place finishes in their respective races.

The Broncos will then travel to Minnesota to compete in the Griak Invitational on Sept. 26. In what will be a loaded field with several of the top teams from around the country, the Blue and Orange will be making their fourth trip in five seasons to the meet hosted by the Golden Gophers.

October will see Boise State travel back to the Midwest and take part in the Wisconsin Adidas Invitational in Madison, Wis., on Oct. 16 for their final meet of the regular season.

The Mountain West Championships will take place in Reno, Nev., on Oct. 30. The women will look to improve upon their runner-up finish last year and the men’s squad will look to build on their fourth-place performance. Both Elliott and Bates won the women’s and men’s individual titles.

The NCAA Cross Country West Regional is set to take place on Nov. 13 in Seattle, and the NCAA Cross Country National Championship is slated for Louisville, Ky. on Nov. 21.
