Greater Louisville Classic Men's Results Greater Louisville Classic Women's Results The individual title is Ostrander’s fifth career victory.
The No. 13 Bronco women showed depth in the victory, outpacing second-place No. 18 Wisconsin, 74 points to 101 points at EP “Tom” Sawyer Park, the site of the 2017 NCAA Cross Country Championships. Despite Ostrander being the only Boise State runner to place in the top 10, the women landed all five scorers in the top 25. Minttu Hukka (16:57.64), Clare O’Brien (17:00.27), Grace McConnochie (17:09.66) and Alexis Fuller (17:10.16) finished in the same 13-second gap, while freshman Emily Venters finished just outside the top 25 (17:11.82) in her first collegiate race. Redshirt senior Anna McDonald (17:17.21) rounded out the top seven for the Broncos in 31st place. On the men’s side, Yusuke Uchikoshi lead the men with a fifth place finish in 23:35.82 on the 8-kilometer course. The No. 26 Broncos took fourth-place as a team (127 points), but finished ahead a trio of ranked teams – No. 7 Wisconsin, No. 19 Illinois and No. 20 Middle Tennessee State – aiding in the team potentially landing an at-large bid to the national championships at the end of the season. Miler Haller (23:42.65) finished just outside of the top 10 in 11th, while senior Michael Vennard (24:06.74) placed 23rd. Junior Riley Campbell (24:33.83) and freshman Ahmed Muhumed (24:39.57) rounded out the scoring for Boise State in 46th- and 55th-place, respectively. Men’s Results

1. Allie Ostrander – 16:28.15 SALEM, Ore. – Noah Horsburgh finished third in 25:02.4 for 8-kilometers to lead three Broncos to top 10 finishes at the 43rd Annual Charles Bowles Invitational. Despite racing only five runners, Boise State finished third as a team with 127 points.
Jeff Lautenslager (25:06.2) and Ty Jordan (25:14.2) finished fourth and sixth, respectively. On the women’s side, Ali Deitsch and Morgan Diefendorf finished in the top 25 to lead the Broncos to a seventh-place finish (192 points). Deitsch ran 18:20.9 to finish 20th, while Diefendorf finished 25th in a time of 18:31.9 in her first collegiate appearance in cross country. Boise State will return to action at the Steve T.
