Peloquin Sixth, Men 19th at Nationals

Brenna Peloquin was sixth in the women's race and the men were 19th as a team at the NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships in Terre Haute, Ind.

2015 Cross Country All-Mountain West Second Team

2016-17: CROSS COUNTRY - Was a consistent presence in the Broncos’ lineup throughout the season, aiding the squad to their second-consecutive appearance at nationals…was the No. 5 scorer at the conference championships (17th - 24:36.0), helping the Broncos capture their first MW team title…finished 39th at the NCAA West Regional Championships (30:29.1) on the 10K course…concluded the season at the NCAA National Championships, taking 171st (31:23.8)…opened the season at the Sagebrush Invitational, clocking a 21:18.44 for seventh place on the 7K course…also performed exceptionally at the Roy Griak Invitational, finishing in 31st place (25:47.2)...took 109th at the Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational (25:06.3).

 - Raced in every meet of the season, and eventually earned All-Mountain West Second-Team honors with his 12th-place day at the Mountain West Championships (27:03.6)…was one spot shy of earning West All-Region honors, placing 26th at the NCAA West Regional with a time of 31:46.6…gained valuable experience at nationals, finishing in 168th (31:33.9)…his best 8k time of the year came at the Wisconsin adidas Invitational, where he clocked a 24:37.1 for 132nd…ran a 7k at the Utah State Invitational and took second for his best finish of the season (19:58.3)…competed in another major meet at the Roy Griak Invitational and ended up taking 102nd (26:48.8)…opened the year at the Dual in Speedway Meadow, took ninth out of 15 (26:27.6)...INDOOR – Competed in two races over the course of the indoor season…began by running a 4:30.10 in the mile at the Ed Jacoby Invitational to take 18th…best performance of the year came in the 5,000m at the MW Indoor Track and Field Championships, running a 15:01.55 to take ninth…recorded a 8:52.71 at the conference championships in the 3,000m...OUTDOOR – Competed in all five distance races over the course of the outdoor season; 800m, 1,500m, 3,000m steeplechase, 5,000m and 10,000m races…took 11th in both the 10,000m (31:10.11) and the 3,000m steeplechase (9:33.40) at the conference championships…also doubled at the Border Clash, competing in both the 1,500m (4:05.50) and the 800m (2:04.90)…kicked off the season with two 5K’s…began the year at the San Francisco State Distance Carnival and ran 14:31.25, and then improved on that mark slightly with a 14:30.32 at the Stanford Twilight.

OKLAHOMA STATE (2014-15): Redshirted cross country, indoor and outdoor track and field his freshman year.

Chandler Austin won four state titles over the course of his prep career at Boone High School. His time of 8:51.74 in the 3,200m was the seventh-fastest time in the nation in 2014. He placed 29th at the Nike Cross Nationals in the fall of 2013, running a 15:32 in the 5,000m race.
