► MEET SPECIFICS –
 Competing in their first track and field under a new coaching staff, the Boise State men’s and women’s programs kick off the 2013-14 season Friday (Dec. 13) hosting the Jacksons Open and Multis. The meet will consist of nine men’s and women’s running events, six field events, a men’s and women’s pentathlon.


► TICKETS AND PARKING - Pricing for the meet is as follows:
$5 - Adults
$3 - Students with ID / Kids 6-12 years / Seniors 60+
Kids 5 and under are free
*Parking is free

► THE COMPETITION - The Boise State men and women welcome a slew of teams to the season opener. The Broncos welcome NCAA Division I competitors Utah Valley; NCAA Division II competitors Central Washington, Northwest Nazarene and Saint Martin's; NCAA Division III team George Fox; NAIA's Carroll, Concordia (Ore.), Evergreen State, Lewis-Clark and Westminster (Utah); as well as the Boise Track Club.

► COMPETING BRONCOS – A limited number of Broncos will compete Friday in the team’s early-season meet. Most of the men and women competing in the meet will run in the 4x400-meter relays at the end of the meet. ­­

► DIRECTIONS TO THE IDAHO CENTER - The Idaho Center sits on the north side of East Franklin Road, between Idaho Center Blvd. and Star Road, approximately one-half mile north of Interstate 84. If coming from I-84, take Exit 38 and go north approximately one-half mile to the light (E. Franklin Rd.). Go right at the light and continue approximately another one-half mile and turn left onto Equine Drive. Continue another one-quarter mile and the building will be on the right. 

► INDOOR SCHEDULE - Boise State hosts five indoor regular season meets during the 2013-14 slate, beginning with the Jacksons Open and Multis, Dec. 13. The Broncos open in January with the Jacksons Invite, Jan. 24-25, followed by the Ed Jacoby Invite and Multi, Jan. 31-Feb. 1.  They host the Bronco Invitational, Feb. 8, and end the season with the Boise State Team Challenge, Feb. 15. In addition Boise State will travel to the UW Invitational (Jan. 31-Feb. 1) and the Husky Classic (Feb. 14) in Seattle. The Mountain West Conference Championships round out the team season, Feb. 27-March 1). They also hope to send team members to the 2014 US Indoor Championships (Feb. 21-23) and the NCAA Indoor Championships (March 14-15) both in Albuquerque, N.M.,
