Indoor Slate to Feature 5 Home Meets

2016-17 Indoor Schedule

The Boise State track and field team released their indoor schedule for the 2016-17 season on Tuesday. The slate will feature five home meets at the Jacksons Indoor Track in Nampa, Idaho. In total, the indoor regular season will include seven meets, not including the Mountain West Indoor Track and Field Championships in Albuquerque, N.M. set for Feb. 23-25.

The women’s team finished in third place at the 2016 Mountain West Indoor Track and Field Championships with 71.50 points, giving them their best finish at the MW Indoor Championships in school history.

The 2016-17 indoor season will begin with three home meets. The Jacksons Open (Dec. 10) will kick off the season, the Ed Jacoby Invitational will follow on Jan. 13-14 and the Bronco Invitational (Jan. 21) will conclude the three-meet homestand.

The Broncos will then head to the UW Invitational in Seattle, Wash., from Jan. 27-28. February will open with the Jacksons Invitational/NB (Feb. 3-4) back at the Jacksons Indoor Track.

The final regular season weekend will see the team split to the Husky Classic (Feb. 10-11) in Seattle and the Boise State Team Challenge (Feb. 11) in Nampa.

The Mountain West Indoor Track and Field Championships will take place in Albuquerque, N.M. at the Albuquerque Convention Center from Feb. 23-25. The NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships will be held in College Station, Texas from March 10-11 at the Gilliam Indoor Stadium.
