Bronco Track and Field Welcomes Keith Vance as Throws Coach

BOISE, Idaho - Boise State's head track and field coach, J.W. Hardy announced on Friday, Oct. 23 the hiring of the newest member of the Bronco coaching staff, Keith Vance. Vance is welcomed as the team's throws coach.

Vance comes to Boise from Tiffin University where he spent four years as the throws coach for the Dragons. There he coached 84 all-time performance list records for the Dragons, 35 conference medalists, seven conference outdoor champions, 16 NAIA National Qualifiers, two American Mideast Conference Athletes of the Year, five NCAA Academic All-American and six NCAA National Qualifiers.

Vance earned his undergraduate degree in Sociology at the College of Wooster as well a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Tiffin University. As an athlete, he finished as an eight-time all-conference honoree at Wooster as well as a national qualifier in the shot put. He still holds both the indoor and outdoor shot put school records for the College of Wooster. Vance also holds his USATF Level 2 certification in the throwing events.
