Bronco Women Earn USTFCCCA All-Academic Honors

BOISE, Idaho - The Boise State women's track and field program earned national honors this week after being named as an All-Academic Track and Field Teams in Division I for the 2011 indoor and outdoor seasons by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

The Broncos earned the honor after earning a 3.07 cumulative team grade point average.

The University of Texas and the University of Oklahoma were named the indoor and outdoor 2011 Scholar Teams of the year, respectively.

In addition, the USTFCCCA announced 164 women's teams and 90 men's teams as All-Academic teams for the track & field seasons. The squads earned the distinction as a result of being the highest-placing teams with at least a 3.00-cumulative GPA at the most recent NCAA indoor and outdoor championship, respectively.
