Boise State Women's Track and Field Named USTFCCCA All-Academic Team

BOISE, Idaho - The 2010 Boise State women's track and field team has been named as one of 151 Division I teams to earn a United State Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Track and Field team nod. The 2010 Bronco team surpassed the required GPA of 3.0 or better with their cumulative GPA of 3.04 to earn the distinction.

 Oklahoma led the nation with the highest team cumulative GPA (3.62) through the winter 2010 term. Quinnipiac was next in line at 3.58.

The Western Athletic Conference was represented by five women's teams, including the Broncos, Utah State (3.43), Idaho (3.25), Hawaii (3.11) and Fresno State (3.09). The WAC men's teams were represented by Idaho and Utah State.

 The Big East led all conferences as 12 of their members notched All-Academic status, including DePaul, Georgetown, Marquette, Rutgers, St. John's, Syracuse, Cincinnati, Connecticut, Louisville, USF, Villanova, and West Virginia. The MAC, Big Ten, and Big 12 followed with eight.
