The Boise State track and field team will begin its postseason run this week with the Mountain West Outdoor Track and Field Championships starting in Clovis, Calif., from May 9-12, hosted by Fresno State. The championships will feature seven men’s teams and 11 women’s teams.

The meet will start today (Wednesday) with the heptathlon and decathlon, but the Broncos won’t have any athletes competing until Thursday evening with the men’s and women’s 10,000m, starting at 8:15 p.m. PT.

DEFENDING CHAMPIONS: The Broncos won four individual titles at last year’s 2017 MW Outdoor Track and Field Championships, and all four athletes will be back once again this season. Sadi Henderson (800m), Yusuke Uchikoshi (3,000m steeplechase) and Bryce Kirby (100m) will be defending their titles while Allie Ostrander (10,000m) will be looking to pick up different titles this week in the 1,500m and 5,000m.

MOUNTAIN WEST RANKINGS: Below is a list of Boise State athletes who are ranked in the top three in the Mountain West in their respective events entering the conference championships. The top-three finishers in each event at the conference championships will be named All-Mountain West honorees.
