SANDE RECORDS REGIONAL QUALIFYING MARK ON FIRST-DAY OF MT. SAC RELAYS

WALNUT, California Boise State senior Breanna Sande recorded the second-best 3000-meter steeplechase time in Bronco women’s track and field history, Thursday (April 16), at the Mt. Sac Relays in Walnut, Calif. Her time of 10:46.92 is also a NCAA Regional Qualifying time.

            Sande placed sixth in the university/open division of the meet, finishing just seven seconds behind first-place (10:39.93). Robin Nixon currently holds the Boise State 3000m Steeplechase record (10:30.98), which was set in 2003.
