Boise State opens its 2014 outdoor schedule this Friday and Saturday (April 4-5) at the Stanford Invitational, where 114 colleges will be competing in what will be the 30th year of the meet.

The meet will take place in Stanford, Calif. at Cobb Track and Angell Field.

Friday, April 4
6:45 p.m. - 3000m steeplechase
7:46 p.m. - 1500m
8:47 p.m. - 5000m

12:00 p.m. - shot put (invitational)
4:00 p.m. - hammer (invitational)
8:07 p.m. - 5000m

Saturday, April 5
2:00 p.m. - hammer (invitational)

Men: Allan Schroeder and Zach Wiles (3000m steeplechase); Drew O'donoghue-McDonald (1500m); Aaron Back, David Elliott, Jeff Howard and Rhys Park (5000m); and Matt Post (hammer).
Women: Tessa Murray and Marisa Howard (5000m); and Hayli Bozarth (shot put, hammer).

The Boise State men enter the outdoor season with a No. 53 team ranking. Based on the preseason data, four men hold preseason rankings: Zach Wiles and Allan Schroeder are ranked No. 33 and No. 34, respectively, in the 3000m steeplechase; Jordin Andrade sits at No. 3 in the 400m hurdles; and Matt Post ranks No. 13 in the hammer throw.

The Boise State women's team comes into the outdoor season with a No. 40 team ranking and three different women holding down preseason rankings: Marisa Howard is ranked No. 8 in the 3000m steeplechase; Emma Bates ranks No. 16 in the 5000m and No. 9 in the 10000m; and Hayli Bozarth comes into the meet ranked No. 44 in the shot put and No. 13 in the hammer throw.
