The Broncos will head to Northern California and split to the Stanford Invitational and San Francisco State Distance Carnival from March 30-31. The Stanford Invitational will take place at the Cobb Track and Angell Field on the campus of Stanford while the San Francisco State Distance Carnival will be held at Chabot College (Chabot Track) in Hayward, Calif.

LAST TIME OUT: Boise State earned a pair of event titles last weekend at the NNU Open as Emily Stiles was victorious in the women's javelin Friday while Kendra Noneman won the women's hammer throw Saturday.

Stiles' mark of 127-10 (38.96m) was the second longest of her career and Noneman's 175-5.75 (53.48m) in the hammer was a career-best performance.

Freshman Liz Gaffney fared well in her first collegiate meet, as well, taking third in the discus (115-3.75 / 35.14m) and fourth in the javelin (123-4 / 37.59m). Drew Lindsley led the way for the men, placing third in the discus (150-7.25 / 45.90m) and fourth in the hammer throw (152-7.25 / 46.51m).
