Mountain West Release

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.
- The Mountain West Indoor Track and Field All-Conference teams were released by the conference on Monday, and six Bronco individuals along with one relay team earned all-conference honors. All-league selections were awarded to the top-three finishers in each event at the championships.

Clare O'Brien and Sadi Henderson led the way for the Blue and Orange as both were able to each win individual titles along with running a leg on the winning DMR team that clocked an 11:19.39, good for the second-fastest time in school history and the second-fastest time in Mountain West Championship history.

Individually, Henderson won the 800m with a championship record time of 2:04.83, and O'Brien claimed the 3,000m title after also running a championship record time of 9:24.75, supplanting Bronco alumna Emma Bates (9:28.18 - 2014) - the previous record holder.

Two pole vaulters claimed runner-up honors after Allison Jeffries cleared 13-5.25 (4.10m) to improve upon her school record and Camden Stoddard vaulted 16-4.75 (5.00m) on the men's side to tie his PR.

Dusty Fisher excelled as a sprinter for men, taking second in the 200m after crossing the line in 21.15 for the sixth All-MW honor of his career. Brenna Peloquin - a four-time All-American - enjoyed a nice performance in the 5K and took third with a 16:49.71.

Henderson has all but cemented her spot in the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships as she is the owner of the No. 12 800m time (2:04.01) in the country, but O'Brien will have to wait and hope for at least two scratches/non-declarations in front of her with the No. 18 3,000m time (9:09.01). The top-16 competitors in each individual event earn berths at nationals.
