BOISE, Idaho-- Boise State will split its men’s and women’s track and field programs to two meets this weekend. 12 Broncos will compete in the Husky Classic in Seattle, Wash., (Feb. 13-14) while the majority of the team will host the Boise State Team Challenge in Nampa, Idaho (Feb. 14).

Husky Classic 12 Broncos will head to Seattle to compete in the Husky Classic, Feb. 13-14 hosted by the University of Washington. David Elliott will be the lone Bronco running on Friday, competing for his first time this year in the 5000m. The remaining Broncos will compete on Saturday, beginning at 9:15 a.m. PT with the women’s 3000m.

The majority of the Boise State track and field program will host the Boise State Team Challenge, Feb. 14 at the Jacksons Indoor Track at the Ford Idaho Center. The Broncos will host Linfield, Eastern Washington, College of Idaho, Utah Valley, Lewis-Clark, Nevada, Idaho State, Concordia (Ore.), Northwest Nazarene, Eastern Oregon, Oregon Tech, Utah State, Great Falls and Treasure Valley CC in the final home indoor meet of the season.

►Directions to the Ford Idaho Center: The Ford Idaho Center sits on the north side of East Franklin Road, between Idaho Center Blvd. and Star Road, approximately one-half mile north of Interstate 84. If coming from I-84, take Exit 38 and go north approximately one-half mile to the light (E. Franklin Rd.). Go right at the light and continue approximately another one-half mile and turn left onto Equine Drive. Continue another one-quarter mile and the Ford Sports Complex building which houses the Jacksons Indoor Track will be on the right.
