Boise State will split its men's and women's track and field programs to two meets this weekend. Five Broncos will head to Seattle to compete in the Husky Classic (Feb. 14-15) and the largest part of the team will remain home for the Boise State Team Challenge in Nampa, Idaho (Feb. 15).

Five Broncos will head west to Seattle to take on some top competition at the Husky Classic at the University of Washington's Dempsey Center. Emma BatesErin McLaughlin, Drew O'donoghue-McDonald, Allan Schroeder and Zach Wiles will represent the Blue and Orange.

Bates and McLaughlin will compete in the women's 3000-meters, racing at that distance for the first time this season. O'donoghue-McDonald will run the men's mile in hopes of topping his time of 4:06.18 that he earned at the UW Invitational two weeks ago. Schroeder will race in the 5000-meter run for the first time this season and Schroeder will compete in the 3000-meters for the second time this season.

The majority of the Boise State track and field program will remain at home to compete in the Boise State Team Challenge, Feb. 15, at the Jacksons Indoor Track at the Ford Idaho Center. The Broncos will take on Cal State Fullerton, Nevada, Utah State, Utah Valley, Northwest Nazarene, College of Idaho, Concordia (Ore.), Eastern Oregon, Lewis-Clark, Westminster (Utah) and Treasure Valley Community College. The meet will be the final home meet of the indoor season for the Broncos.

Directions to the Ford Idaho Center: The Ford Idaho Center sits on the north side of East Franklin Road, between Idaho Center Blvd. and Star Road, approximately one-half mile north of Interstate 84. If coming from I-84, take Exit 38 and go north approximately one-half mile to the light (E. Franklin Rd.). Go right at the light and continue approximately another one-half mile and turn left onto Equine Drive. Continue another one-quarter mile and the Ford Sports Complex building which houses the Jacksons Indoor Track will be on the right.
