EUGENE, Ore. –
Sadi Henderson continued to round into form Friday night at the Oregon Twilight, running a 2:04.26 to win the 800m – an outdoor season-best time. Freshman Kristie Schoffield also ran well, taking third in the same race thanks to a 2:09.17.

Henderson was hot on the heels of the rabbit – Shea Collinsworth – for the first 600 meters, and eventually turned on the jets in the last 200 meters to leave Oregon’s Jessica Hull (2:04.93) in the dust for her third-straight 800m victory this outdoor season.

Amy Pfaff also competed in Eugene, taking 11th in the 1,500m with a 4:26.43. Pfaff still has the No. 38 time in the NCAA West Region in the 800m, putting her in solid position for advancing to regionals.

The Broncos will now travel to Clovis, Calif., and compete at the Mountain West Outdoor Track and Field Championships from May 9-12.
