BOISE, Idaho – The Broncos were led by Juston Lindsley’s third-place performance in the men’s discus on Friday at the Border Clash at Ed Jacoby Track. Lindsley tossed a season-best 167-0 (50.91m) to secure the best finish of the day for the Blue and Orange. The team came away with a pair of career-best marks on a day that featured mostly throwing events.

Taj Dorsett enjoyed a nice performance in the women’s long jump, jumping 18-3 (5.56m) for fourth place. The mark was wind assisted, however, so unfortunately it will not count for what would have been her career-best jump.

Britlie Silvester took fourth place in the women’s hammer throw thanks to a 180-3 (54.95m), good for her best throw of the season. Karyna Armstrong (167-7 / 51.07m) was 10th, and both Mallory Nelson (159-6 / 48.61m) and Morgan Van Kooten (119-7 / 36.46m) recorded career-best throws, finishing in 11th and 33rd, respectively. Courtney Hutchinson (145-3 / 44.27m) was 17th.
