Mt. SAC Results | Bryan Clay Invite Results

WALNUT, Calif.
--David Elliott shattered a 37-year school record on Friday night, racing to victory in the 1500m race at the Bryan Clay Invitational. Elliott ran a time of 3:41.61, defeating 208 competitors en route to his personal record. Emma Bates followed suit, clinching the school record in the women's 1500m race. Bates finished in 4:16.37 at the Mt. SAC Relays, running a personal best as well.

Down the street from Mt. SAC, Marisa Howard put on her own performance in the 1500m at the Bryan Clay Invitational. The redshirt senior raced to a 4:21.05, a personal best and the third-best performance in Boise State history. Howard's fourth-place finish also came in nine tenths under the meet record, set back in 2012. Allan Schroeder had a stand-out race in the 1500m in his own right. His 3:44.61 PR is now the second all-time performance at Boise State, good for a 14th-place finish. 

Also running PRs included Louis McAfee (3:53.45), Jeff Lautenslager (3:55.02) and Keegan McCormick (4:02.75).

On the women's side, Tessa Murray placed 19th overall in the 1500m in 4:29.88. Anna Holdiman (4:35.44), Emma Hyyppä (4:38.60) and Rici Morrill (4:42.23) rounded out the Bronco charge, all running personal bests. Kate Jette placed eighth in her heat in the 3000m steeplechase, finishing in 11:16.19. Gracie Tostenson ran a personal best in the 5000m, finishing in 17:19.78.

In the sprints, Megan Kelley (55.36) and Kyle Kelley (47.85) ran personal bests in the women's and men's 400-meter races, respectively at Mt. SAC. Mackenzie Flannigan had a pair of top-25 finishes in the 100 and 200-meter races. Flannigan finished in 11.71 in the 100-meter dash and 23.82 in the 200 meters. Alexandru Terpezan ran a PR of 10.57 in the 100-meter dash. He also ran a time of 21.38in the 200-meter dash. Rex Stanley ran a time of 53.96 in the 400-meter hurdles, good for 19th place.

Dusty Fisher clocked an 11.21 in the 100-meter dash at the Bryan Clay Invitational for his PR, and finished sixth overall in the 200-meter dash (21.49). Sadi Henderson placed first in her heat and 19th overall in the 800, in a time of 2:12.84.

Freshman Michael Vennard raced Thursday in the 3000m steeplechase at Mt. SAC. Vennard ran a personal best of 8:56.31. Aaron Back and Dan Oekerman competed in the 5000m at Mt. SAC, placing 21st and 24th, respectively. Back ran 14:38.29, while Oekerman finished in 14:45.30 for his personal best.

In the field events, Jordan Ward cleared 1.75m (5-8.75) in the women's high jump for fifth place. Allison Jeffries cleared 3.90m (11-9.75) in the pole vault to tie for eleventh overall.

Competition starts back up at 11:45 a.m. PT tomorrow at the Beach Invitational. The Bronco hurdlers will race at Mt. SAC at 4:10 p.m.
