EUGENE, Ore. – The Broncos saw four athletes enjoy personal-best marks or times in the final day of competition at the Oregon Relays in Eugene, Ore. Fernando Martinez had the best finish of the day for Boise State, taking second in the 400m hurdles with a time of 51.84.

Also competing in the 400m hurdles were Rex Stanley (53.05) and Cameron Wrout (58.54), who took fifth and 15th place, respectively.

Camden Stoddard enjoyed an outdoor career best in the men’s pole vault, clearing a height of 15-11.25 (4.86m) for fifth place. Taj Dorsett tallied a personal best when she recorded a 36-9 (11.20m) in the triple jump for ninth.

Alexandru Terpezan had an outdoor personal best when he clocked a 48.43 for fourth place in the 400m, and Dusty Fisher was close behind in eighth with a 48.85.

The women’s throws team excelled as well, as Courtney Hutchinson took fifth in the shot put with a 49-9.25 (13.95m), and Morgan Van Kooten finished in seventh with a career-best mark of 43-5.25 (13.24m).

In the hammer throw it was Britlie Silvester (166-5 / 50.74m) taking seventh, Karyna Armstrong (156-1 / 47.57m) securing 10th and Hutchinson (131-0 / 39.93m) was 13th.

Jordan Ward (5-3.25 / 1.61m) tied for seventh in the high jump.

The Broncos will return to competition next weekend and partake in the Stanford Twilight in Stanford, Calif., on Friday, April 22.
