Day One of Oregon Relays Wraps Up

EUGENE, Ore. –
The 200m sprinters did well on the first day at the Oregon Relays with Dusty Fisher (21.37) recording the best time of the day for the men to claim third at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore. Alexandru Terpezan finished right behind Fisher, taking fourth place thanks to a time of 21.44.

Chassity Love was the lone Boise State 200m sprinter on the women’s side, and the freshman did well to take eighth after clocking a 24.76.

Juston Lindsley led the way in the discus throw, recording a mark of 163-1 (49.71m) to take sixth. Drew Lindsley (150-7 / 45.89m) was close behind in eighth.

Taj Dorsett picked up solid experience in the long jump, leaping a distance of 17-4.75 (5.30m) for 10th.

The meet will continue tomorrow afternoon, with the first Bronco competitors starting at 12:15 p.m. (MT) with the women’s weight throw.
