Stanford Invitational Meet Results

STANFORD, Calif. –
Justin Stattner claimed the victory in the collegiate pole vault Saturday at the Stanford Invitational, clearing 15-9 (4.80m) for the second event title of his career. He was just shy of his PR (16-0.75 / 4.90m), leading the way for the Broncos on day two in the Bay Area.

Taj Dorsett enjoyed a PR in the triple jump, bounding her way to 39-8.50 (12.10m) for seventh place. Kendra Noneman was close to establishing a new career best in the hammer throw, recording a mark of 173-4 (52.83m) for sixth place.

Bryce Kirby clocked a 21.88 in the 200m on the track, good for ninth place.


San Francisco State Distance Carnival Meet Results

HAYWARD, Calif. –
Sophomore Emily Stiles recorded a gigantic PR to win the javelin at the San Francisco State Distance Carnival, ending with a mark of 144-6 (44.05m). Drew Lindsley joined her with a victory of his own, winning the discus thanks to a 156-0 (46.33m)

Courtney Hutchinson put forth a solid effort in taking second in the shot put with a 44-4 (13.51m). Lindsley also fared well in the hammer (153-1 / 46.33m), taking ninth.

Freshman Jose Rubio logged a top-10 finish on the track after taking seventh in the 400m hurdles with a time of 55.35. Ricardo Rodriguez (57.81) was 13th.
