Stanford Invitational Results | San Francisco State Distance Carnival Results

SAN FRANCISCO
-- Drew Lindsley picked up the first event victory of his collegiate career in winning the discus thanks to a personal-best mark of 160-09 (49.0m) to post the best finish of the day for Boise State at the San Francisco State Distance Carnival on Saturday.

Fernando Martinez took second in the 400m hurdles with a time of 51.75. On the women's side Sadi Henderson (55.52) took third in the 400m while Amy Pfaff (58.28) was eighth.

Taj Dorsett clocked a 12.44 to take 12th in the 100m.

Kevin Ketterling had a busy day in the field events, recording a 125-11 (38.38m) to take 12th in the discus and a 40-9 (12.42m) to place 13th in the shot put.

STANFORD, Calif. -- The men's sprinters headlined the Bronco effort Saturday afternoon at the Stanford Invitational as Dusty Fisher picked up a runner-up finish in the 200m after clocking a 21.35. Alexandru Terpezan (21.51) and Bryce Kirby (21.63) were fourth and sixth in the same race.

Terpezan was third in the 100m final while Kirby took fourth. The margin in which they were separated by was miniscule with Terpezan running a 10.678 and Kirby right behind him at 10.680.

Camden Stoddard logged an outdoor PR in the pole vault after clearing 16-0.75 (4.90m) to take fifth. Drew Lindsley (148-3 / 45.19m) was fifth in the discus and freshman Emily Stiles (111-10 / 34.09m) took 11th in the javelin in her Bronco debut.

Boise State will return to action next weekend from April 7-8 when they compete at the Sun Angel Classic in Tempe, Ariz.
