SEATTLE, Wash. –
The Bronco distance crew continued a string of dominant performance that began Friday night, as 11 Boise State runners set new personal bests at the Husky Classic.

Both Addison Dehaven and Jeff Lautenslager ran the No. 2 times in school history in the 3000m and the mile, respectively. DeHaven’s time of 7:54.83 is 1.69 seconds off David Elliott’s school record, as he finished 11th. His time is also the 13th-fastest in Division 1 this year, putting him in good position to receive a bid to the national championships next month.

Lautenslager finished second in the fourth heat of the mile, while Andrew Rafla finished fifth in a new personal best of 4:04.64, the fourth-fastest time in school history.

In the women’s 3000m, Allie Ostrander returned to the oval for the first time this winter, finishing fifth in 8:58.98, just off her personal best and school record. Her time is the eighth-fastest in the Division 1 this year.

BOISE STATE CHALLENGE RECAP | BOISE STATE CHALLENGE RESULTS

NAMPA, Idaho – The Boise State track and field teams won seven event titles at the Boise State Challenge to close out the home indoor season.

Noah Horsburgh won both the 800m (1:53.72) and the mile (4:08.28), with his mile time being a new personal best. Ty Jordan finished second to Horsburgh in the 800m in a personal best of 1:54.11, while Chandler Austin (4:16.50) took third in the mile.

Freshman Chelsea Walker set personal bests in the 400m (56.21) and the 200m (24.76), finishing first and second, respectively.

In the women’s 800m, Amy Pfaff led Morgan Diefendorf to a 1-2 finish. Pfaff ran a new personal best of 2:09.56, while Diefendorf went 2:18.96.

The Broncos also picked up a pair of victories in the women’s throws events, with Kendra Noneman winning the weight throw in a new personal best of 55-1.00 (16.79m), while Courtney Hutchinson claimed her second victory of the season in the shot put, throwing 46-3.25 (14.10m).

Taj Dorsett also took home a title in the triple jump in 39-2.25 (11.94m). The junior also took fifth in the 60m in 7.79.

Next up for Boise State will be the Mountain West Indoor Championships, Feb. 22-24, in Albuquerque, N.M.
