NAMPA, Idaho – The Boise State track and field teams picked up three wins on the final day of the Jacksons/NB Boise Indoor Invite on Saturday at Jacksons Indoor Track.

Bryce Kirby kicked things off for the Broncos by winning the finals of the men’s 60m dash in a time of 6.95, giving him his first-career 60m victory. Alexandru Terpezan finished in seventh in the same race.

Ozo Rojas added a win in the mile in a career-best time of 4:15.03, edging Utah Valley’s Tyson Lambert and his 4:15.53. The redshirt sophomore has dropped his mile time each outing this season.

Freshman Noah Horsburgh provided the final win for the Broncos, taking control of the men’s 800m heading into the final stretch to win over Thomas Morrell III of Eastern Oregon. Horsburgh’s winning time of 1:54.03 was also a career best.

Freshman Morgan Diefendorf (2:22.56) and Emily DeMarco (2:23.83) took ninth and 13th, respectively, in the women’s 800m in their collegiate debut in the event.

A runner-up finish by Fernando Martinez (47.92) in the men’s 400m added to Boise State’s successful day. Cameron Wrout took 13th after crossing the line in 51.21.

Terpezan logged a second-place finish in the 200m thanks to a 21.68, tying his season-best time that he recorded yesterday in the preliminaries. Kirby (22.37) took seventh in the same race.

Drew Lindsley was the top Bronco finisher in any field event with a 46-4 (14.12m) in the shot put for fourth place. Justin Stattner also enjoyed a top-10 finish after taking ninth in the pole vault (14-1.25 / 4.30m).

The Broncos will split next weekend with a distance group heading back up to Seattle for the Husky Classic from Feb. 10-11 while the remainder of the team will stay back to host the final indoor home meet of the year, the Boise State Team Challenge (Feb. 11).
