SEATTLE, Wash. –
Kendra Noneman recorded a career-best mark of 49-07.25 (15.12m) in the weight throw on day one of the UW Invitational at the Dempsey Indoor on Friday. The performance gave her seventh place in the second flight of the event.

Keegan McCormick ran the fastest 5K of his collegiate career and was seventh in the second heat after crossing the line in 14:59.89. Anne Brinegar took 20th in the second heat on the women’s side thanks to a time of 18:13.50.

The Broncos will return to the track tomorrow where the bulk of their competitors will compete at the UW Invitational. The first event (women’s long jump) for the Broncos will start at 9 a.m. (PT).
