Boise State track and field will split to the Stanford Invitational and the San Francisco State Distance Carnival this weekend (March 30-31)

2017-18: CROSS COUNTRY- Did not compete . . . INDOOR- Ran 2:18.16 in the prelims of the 800m at the Mountain West Championship (Feb. 22-24) . . . Ran a personal best 5:15.02 in the mile at the 2018 Boise State Challenge. Also ran the 800m and the third leg of the 4x400m race (Feb 10) . . . Ran a personal best of 2:19.78 for 800m to take ninth at the Jacksons Nike Boise Indoor Invite (Feb. 2-3) . . . Competed in the 800m at the Jacksons Open (Dec. 9), finishing fourth in 2:20.21 . . . Ran the mile in 5:19.53 at the Bronco Invitational (Jan. 20)

A talented middle distance standout from the Treasure Valley, Kari Taylor was the 800m champion at the 2016 Idaho 5A Track and Field State Championships where she ran her career-best 800m time of 2:14.04. Taylor is a three-time top-10 finisher in the 800m at the state championships, including a seventh-place result in the 1,600m in 2015. Also picked up experience in cross country, taking 26th at the 2015 5A Idaho Cross Country State Championships. 800m – 2:14.04 | 1,500m – 4:42.38
