Ihmels Adds to Coaching Staff

Head coach Corey Ihmels announced the hiring of assistant coach Pat McCurry and the addition of volunteer assistant coaches Justin Graff and Andrew Green on Monday

Graff will bolster the throws’ coaching staff with a background that includes experience as a student-athlete at the University of Montana from 2009-11. A javelin thrower, Graff was a NCAA Regional qualifier in 2010 and 2011 - taking fourth place at the Big Sky Conference Championships both years.

Prior to competing at Montana, Graff attended Mead High School in Spokane, Wash., and placed fifth in the 4A state meet in the javelin as a senior.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Eastern Washington University in 2014.
