Bronco Men Take Fifth at Conference

Sadi Henderson (women's 800m) and Bryce Kirby (men's 100m) both won conference titles and the men's team led the way with a strong fifth-place team performance on the final day of the league championships


Uchikoshi Wins, Men's Sprinters Excel

Yusuke Uchikoshi won the 3,000m steeplechase title while sprinters Dusty Fisher and Alexandru Terpezan were both able to make some noise in the school record book


Ihmels Adds to Coaching Staff

Head coach Corey Ihmels announced the hiring of assistant coach Pat McCurry and the addition of volunteer assistant coaches Justin Graff and Andrew Green on Monday

Green comes to the Treasure Valley from Minot State University in Minot, N.D., where he served as an assistant coach for sprints, jumps and hurdles in the 2016 season. Prior to his stint at Minot State, Green served as the head track and field and cross country coach at Sammanish High School in Bellevue, Wash., from 2012-15.

During his tenure, Sammamish qualified 18 athletes for the Washington State Track and Field Championships with four of those athletes earning all-state honors. Additionally, in 2014, Sammamish qualified a boys cross country team for the state championships for the first time in more than 20 seasons.

Green was also a standout student-athlete at the University of Redlands from 2008-11. During his four-year career, he earned 20 All-SCIAC (Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic conference) honors, eight NCAA national qualifying marks, and two All-American honors (400m dash and 4x100m relay).
