    NOTE: All documents within the tryout application must be collected and emailed as ONE document (cannot be emailed as individuals attachments)

Anyone planning to audition for Buster Bronco, Mane Line, or Cheer MUST register online & pay the registration fee. This includes individuals submitting an audition tape. Also, individuals (including those auditioning for Buster Bronco) must download the Tryout Application & Tryout Medical & Injury Report. All required documents, including proof of payment & registration, must accompany submitted applications and the injury report.

Tryout Attire

This is the expectation for all three days of auditions.

  • Females -- Black Spanks/Compression Shorts with a black sports bra, cheer/athletic shoes for cheerleaders and jazz shoes for dancers.
  • Males -- Black Shorts with a black t-shirt (no tank tops or cut off shirts), cheer/athletic shoes.
Additional Information:
  • The only acceptable visible logo on attire is Nike or Boise State. In the event clothing has a different logo, it may not be any bigger then the size of a quarter. No Nike competitor logos.
  • Tattoos are acceptable, but they must be easily hidden if you are asked to cover them. It would be ideal to cover them so they are not visible and do not distract from your skill & performance.
  • All jewelry must be removed, no exceptions. This includes "wearable tech" (i.e., Apple watches, Garmin watches, etc.).
  • Male facial hair is acceptable, but they must have it groomed and well manicured.
  • Acrylic/gel nails are acceptable, but must be at a reasonable length & manicured. The color of the nail must be neutral or a French tip and unnoticeable.
  • Male hair can be any length, but must be short enough or pulled back to be out of the face.
  • Female hair must be down.
  • Appearance must be game day/performance ready.
Mandatory Dates:
  • June 5: Fall camp payment of $400 due.
  • June 10-16: June Camp, Mandatory new team practices, photo shoots & fundraiser.
  • Aug. 12-19: Mandatory fall camp (all team members must be moved to Boise by this date).
  • August 20 (Date TBA): First day of school.
