May 22, 2018

BOISE, Idaho - Boise State spirit squad head coach Kassondra Landry announced the selection of a 45-member team for the 2018-19 academic year. Landry and other department personnel oversaw auditions from April 27-29, before ultimately selecting the team of Mane Line Dancers and Boise State Cheerleaders.

The group was pared down from 90 hopefuls over three days of tryouts. Cuts were made Friday and Saturday, with the finalists performing Sunday in front of a panel of judges. The panel selected 18 Mane Line Dancers and 27 cheerleaders.

Of the 45 members, 25 will return from the 2017-18 season. The Bronco veterans will help usher in the next wave of spirit squad members, as 20 incoming freshmen were selected for the team.

The team begins practices June 9, followed by fall camp from Aug. 12-19.
