Bronco Athletics Breaks Ground on Basketball Facility

BOISE, Idaho - Boise State University Athletics broke ground on the Arguinchona Basketball Complex Thursday, a 10,000-square-foot facility for the Bronco men’s and women’s basketball teams.

The facility, which will be located outside of lobby three at Taco Bell Arena, will feature two separate floors – one for the men’s team and one for the women’s team. The facility will also include locker rooms, a theater-style film room, lounges and study areas.

“We are very thankful to Larry and Karen Arguinchona and our other major donors who made this possible today,” Athletic Director Gene Bleymaier said. “This is going to be a tremendous addition to the Boise State campus, to Boise State Athletics and each of our basketball programs - both men and women.”

Two years ago the Broncos also renovated the Dr. Richard H. Libby Basketball Center, including the coaches’ suites for both the men’s and women’s programs.
