How to Prepare for Tryouts

Tumbling Section:  Go to your local gymnastics/ cheer gym for open gyms or get private instruction.  Ask your current Cheer coach to help you.  Work on strengthening the required skills and then go beyond those skills.

Stunting Section:  work with your current stunt group or partner.  Get private instruction from a local gym or college.  Work on strengthening the required skills and then go beyond those skills.

Motions and Rally:  Watch UCA college nationals videos.  Come to Boise State University of your local college games.

Boise State hosts a stunt clinic once a month at Wings Center here in Boise.  You are more than welcome to come to those and brush up on your skills.  We also have our Spring Stunt Clinic.  Here you can learn everything you will need to know for tryouts and get a leg up on the competition.
