Luncheon Series Returns, Radio Show Info

Aug. 4, 2016 BOISE, Idaho – The Boise State football team kicked off its 2016 campaign today with the first practice of the season. The Bronco Luncheon Series is also back for 2016, the Bronco Athletic Association Kickoff Dinner is right around the corner and Coach Harsin Weekly, a radio show with Boise State football head coach Bryan Harsin, is undergoing a format change.

Coach Harsin Weekly will be taped in advance and aired at 7 p.m., solely on the Bronco Radio Network throughout the 2016 season. The show, which will no longer be accompanied with a live audience, is scheduled to begin on Aug. 30, and will run each week in advance of the Broncos’ 12 regular-season games.

The show will air primarily on Thursdays, with the exception of the first episode (Aug. 30), which will air on Tuesday, and the seventh (Oct. 19) and 12th (Nov. 23) episodes, which will air on Wednesday. There is no radio show during the Broncos’ bye week.

Times and dates for Coach Harsin Live are subject to change.

Tickets can be purchased in advance HERE for $17, or for $20 at the door on the day of the luncheon. A ticket to each of the six luncheons can also be purchased for $85. Doors will open at 11:30 a.m., and programming is scheduled to begin at noon. For the 2016 season, luncheons will be held on the sixth floor of the Stueckle Sky Center, and parking is free in the West Stadium Lot.

The Bronco Luncheon Series will also feature giveaways and appearances by Director of Athletics Curt Apsey, current and former student-athletes, Buster Bronco and members of the Spirit Squad.

The 2016 BAA Kickoff Dinner is scheduled for Monday, Aug. 15, in the Jordan Ballroom at the Student Union Building on Boise State’s campus. Doors open at 4:45 p.m., and programming is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m.

Seating for the Kickoff Dinner is general admission, and coaches and student-athletes from each of the Broncos’ fall sports – cross country, football, soccer and volleyball – will be in attendance. Tickets are $15, and parking is free in the Lincoln Garage.
