BOISE, Idaho - With the start of Bronco Fall Camp Friday, a number of new Broncos are going through preseason practices for the first time in Blue and Orange.

The season opener against Ole Miss at the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game in Atlanta is just 27 days away, so as we count down to kickoff in Atlanta, BroncoSports.com is rolling out a Rookie Roll Call to familiarize Bronco fans with the newest members of the program. Up first is freshman offensive lineman Troy Bacon.

Why did you choose Boise State?

For the quality of life here in Boise, and because this program is on the rise.

What's been your favorite part about Boise so far?

The friendships I've made already, and the lake.

Looking to the future, what do you want to do in your life beyond football?

I want to pursue a career in law enforcement.

What are some of your favorite hobbies outside of football?

I like to go snowboarding and wakeboarding.

What is your number one song that gets you pumped up before a game?

"Soldiers" by Otherwise.

Give us your favorite Boise State uniform-and-helmet combo?

That's a good one. I'm going to go with black helmet, blue jersey and black pants.

Who has been the most influential figure in your life so far?

Definitely my parents.
