Get Your Tickets for Auction 2007

BOISE, Idaho If you have ever wanted to have a direct impact on the product Boise State University puts on the field and in the classroom, now is your chance.

The Bronco Athletic Association and the Boise State University Alumni Association will be hosting Auction 2007, Saturday May 5, at the Boise Centre on the Grove. The event, sponsored by Micron, consists of a silent auction, dinner and a live auction, with all proceeds benefiting Boise State University scholarship funds.

Doors open for the silent auction, sponsored by The Idaho Statesman, at 4:30 p.m., with hors d’oeuvres and a no-host bar. Dinner will begin at 6:00, with the live auction, sponsored by Orion Integration Group, to follow at 8:00.

Tickets to the event are $150 per person or $2,000 for a table of 10 with a Ward Hooper table sign for the donor to keep. Tickets can be purchased at the Allen Noble Hall of Fame or by contacting Valerie Tichenor via e-mail ( or telephone (426-2570).

The auction has been held every other year since 1983 and has raised over $2,800,000 for scholarships at Boise State University.

Items up for bid this year include: an “Ultimate Test Drive” from the Lyle Pearson Co., Bronco specialty items, jewelry, a Buddy Scooter, trips, a “Coach for a Day” package, a 2007 Toyota F.J. Cruiser from Tom Scott Motors and McAlvain Construction, and a number of other items and services.
